Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
|
Magic Kingdom’s newest attraction, TRON Lightcycle / Run, is set to open in just a few short months, and guests are already buzzing with excitement. However, Disney Parks has just announced that accessing this ride will be a little different than what guests are used to.
To enter TRON Lightcycle / Run, guests will need to use the My Disney Experience app, and standby queues will not be available. Instead, guests can request to enter the virtual queue once per day during regular park hours. To be eligible for the virtual queue, guests must have valid admission and a theme park reservation.
There will be two opportunities each day to request to join the virtual queue for TRON Lightcycle / Run. The first opportunity will be at 7:00 AM, and guests do not need to be in the park to join. However, they must have a theme park reservation for Magic Kingdom park. The second opportunity will be at 1:00 PM, and guests must be in Magic Kingdom park to join the virtual queue.
But that’s not all. For registered guests staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort, Disney Deluxe Villa Resort, or other select hotels, there will be an additional opportunity to join the virtual queue. On select dates during extended evening theme park hours, guests can request to join the queue at 6:00 PM. These guests do not need to be in Magic Kingdom park to join at this time. However, they will need valid admission and a theme park reservation for the same park on the same day to experience extended evening hours.
Guests who have a ticket or Annual Pass with the Park Hopper option can also experience extended evening hours if they first enter the park for which they made their reservation.
While the new virtual queue system may take some getting used to, it is sure to make the overall guest experience smoother and more enjoyable. So mark your calendars and get ready to join the virtual queue for TRON Lightcycle / Run
