REVIEW: Toy-tastic BBQ Feast at Roundup Rodeo BBQ!

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

I visited Disney’s Hollywood Studios earlier today and had the pleasure of dining at the Roundup Rodeo BBQ, which opened today. From the moment I walked in, I was transported to a magical world of oversized toy decor, reminiscent of my childhood favorites. It was as if I had shrunk down to the size of a toy and found myself in the midst of an enchanting playroom filled with familiar characters and lively colors.

One of the standout features of the Roundup Rodeo BBQ is the menu, which offers a wide range of mouth-watering BBQ dishes to suit every palate. My dining adventure began with The Prospector’s Homemade Cheddar Biscuits, served with a side of Sweet Pepper Jelly. The biscuits were delightfully warm and flaky, and the sweet pepper jelly added an unexpectedly delightful contrast that had me craving more.

Next up were the Evil Dr. Smoked Ribs. I must say, these ribs were anything but evil! They were tender, juicy, and packed with smoky flavor. The BBQ sauce was a perfect balance of sweet and tangy, and it elevated the dish to a whole new level.

As a fan of classic BBQ, I couldn’t pass up the Buttercup’s Beef Brisket. This dish was the star of the night. The brisket was so tender it practically melted in my mouth, and the smoky, rich flavor was simply divine. I was in BBQ heaven!

Now, let’s talk about the There’s a Sausage in my Boot – Fire-grilled Pork Sausage. This dish was a delightful surprise. The sausage was cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior and a juicy, flavorful interior. The accompanying sauce added a touch of spice, making this dish an instant favorite.

Finally, I tried the BBQ Chicken – with Style! The name did not disappoint – this chicken dish was truly stylish. The chicken was cooked to perfection, with a smoky, tender taste that left me wanting more. The accompanying sauce added a touch of sweetness and tang, making this dish the perfect finale to my dining experience.

Overall, the Roundup Rodeo BBQ exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of delicious BBQ, a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the whimsical oversized toy decor made this dining experience one for the books. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios – you won’t be disappointed!
